Check it out here: 10/10/23: Happy to announce that Premature Burial's first new full-length album in over two decades is out on Autumnal Release Records on October 27th, 2023! The new album, Chronic, is a concept album dealing with the topic of chronic illness. Sonically, it forges a decidedly new path but with some of Premature Burial's original DNA also intact. It's already available for digital preorder in select stores. Here's the Amazon link: On top of that, a new 5-song companion EP titled Mortality is also finished and off for release by Silber Records as part of their 5in5 EP series. No definite release date yet, but hopefully looking at around the same timeframe as the album. So there you have it. Sorry for the radio silence over the last few years, but 17 new songs incoming across two new releases on two different record labels. I also know the site hasn't been entirely upkept, so maybe I'll get around to sweeping out a few of the cobwebs around here before the releases, too. More info to come...

Here are a few reviews of the new EP: The index page and discography of this site have finally been updated, as well. Not exactly the prettiest job, but the info and links are up to date, at least. 10/6/16: The new Premature Burial EP, f/a/c/t/i/o/n/s, is now up on the Silber Records site, complete with an exclusive digital booklet download, for the bargain price of $1. In addition to that, recording just wrapped on a brand new premature burial EP, titled "factions", also for Silber Records (part of their 5in5 EP series). So, there you have it, two new premature burial releases on their way...the first new premature burial recordings in somewhere around a dozen years. 9/4/15: In a bit of a "never say never" moment, premature burial has been revived for an experimental compilation on Silber Records. The new track, "signal to noise to signal", is finished and marks the first new official premature burial recording in over a decade! More info to come... 10/9/11: Welcome to the new site! All three premature burial albums have been remastered and reissued, including a deluxe 10th anniversary edition of ritual that includes 3 bonus tracks that were previously unavailable on CD.
